As a small, dynamic business, specialising in flexible working solutions in a modern digital world, Datrix believed that we were ready for anything. Covid-19 tested that theory to its limits. However, despite some significant setbacks, including the tragic loss of a member of our team to this horrible illness, we believe we are coming through the pandemic stronger
Datrix is an agile business and we were able to respond quickly to the evolving guidance, closing the office to customers and employees alike. As you might expect, we also placed an embargo on all but essential work travel. The key challenge here was to ensure we protected the health and safety of our employees whilst still being able to deliver an excellent service to our clients.
We’re especially proud of how we have continued to deliver on our ongoing commitment to our NHS customers. In fact, we’ve managed to expand the services we offer throughout the public sector during what has been a challenging time for all.
Of course, like many organisations, we had to make some changes to our business and support models. Fortunately, we like to practice what we preach, and technology has played a major role in enabling us to adapt to changing demands. However, we couldn’t have done it without the dedication, professionalism and enthusiasm of our teams. Through it all, they have remained committed to delivering on every one of our customer promises.
As we move to the next phase of “the new normal” and with people gradually returning to work, we’re seeing a new set of challenges. These impact our customers, as they change their working practices and look to solidify the temporary systems and solutions they put in place at the heart of the pandemic. It also affects Datrix, as we adapt to increased remote working and different ways of supporting our clients. Socially distanced customer meetings and presentations are starting to return, we’re enjoying having a limited number of people back in the office, and we’re looking forward to the future with optimism.
