Senior Infrastructure Engineer

We are currently looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our highly skilled Infrastructure team, responsible for providing 2nd/3rd level support and administration for UK clients.

Key Skills required

  • Experience supporting Windows 2016 Server and Active Directory management (including GPO)
  • Good general knowledge of Server, storage and desktop hardware technologies
  • In-depth experience in support & administration of Windows Desktop 10
  • In-depth experience in support & administration of Microsoft Office Products (2016 - 2019)
  • Experienced with Mobile Device Management
  • Excellent communication skills and be well presented
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues escalated through the Service Desk using ITIL processes to maintain adherence to stringent SLAs and KPI’s
  • AV - General administration and management, including auto deployment and policy setting
  • The ability to analyse, understand and produce accurate detailed documentation
  • Required to work 24/7 on call as part of a rota
  • Strong knowledge of IT security best practice, common attack types and detection/prevention methods

As part of a highly technical and proactive team, you should be a solid generalist; providing BAU support, as well being responsible for the continuous design and development of our clients’ infrastructure. Travel will be required so a full UK driving licence is essential.

You should be a self-motivated, confident engineer who will be responsible for representing our organisation in a service delivery capacity; presenting detailed reports and KPI statistics to clients.

Network Consultant

The Datrix Network Consultant works within the Consultancy department and is responsible for providing technical network skills to support our customers both onsite and remotely. The role is predominantly about delivery but there are elements of pre-sales and support as well. The role will require close working relationships with all Datrix departments including, Operations, Support, Project Management and Sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deploy functional and secure networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN)
  • Monitor network performance and integrity
  • Remote and onsite fault troubleshooting, facilitating customer adds, moves & changes, customer rollouts and other project based installs
  • Prepare and document standard infrastructure operating procedures and protocols (HLD and LLD)
  • Prepare and deliver Proof of Concepts around network solutions
  • Educate and keep abreast of current and innovative networking solutions
  • Assist with qualification of designs and opportunities
  • Attend and present at customer technical workshops and sales opportunities sessions
  • Availability for 24/7 On-Call rota

Experience Required

  • Proven background in the design, implementation and support of Enterprise networks
  • Good understanding of latest network and security principles, techniques and protocols
  • Maintaining vendor certifications including but not limited to Extreme, Palo Alto, Cato
  • Familiarity with various operating systems

Helpdesk 1st Line Support Analyst

We are recruiting for an experienced helpdesk 1st line support analyst, initially working from home (nationwide). Key duties will include managing support calls via telephone and ticketing system. Ensuring all tickets are updated in-line with SLA’s and customer requirements. The successful candidate will need to be a team player providing 1st line technical support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Day to day management of all support tickets, requesting updates from escalations and providing to customer and vice versa.
  • Inbound support call handling, and providing updates to customers.
  • Provide basic technical support, and gather information for ticket creation.
  • Log incidents, problems and requests in line with department policies and procedures
  • Liaise with internal and external users, providing updates on incidents, problems and requests

Experience Required

  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Windows environment & network technologies.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and telephone manner
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Ability to work independently in pressurised environments

Account Manager

We are currently looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our London-based account team. Sales Professionals at Datrix are required to be involved in both the management of existing customers and the development of new clients.

Key Responsibilities

The role will entail maintaining and expanding customer relationships to both meet revenue objectives and ensure customer engagement and satisfaction.

  • Maintain existing customer relationships
  • Identify net new revenue generating opportunities
  • Deliver tender responses when opportunities are identified
  • Development of partner-provided leads within target organisations
  • Ensuring timely and successful delivery of customer projects

It is an essential part of the role to maintain up-to-date knowledge of all products and services within the Datrix portfolio. Account Managers should also have a broad understanding of competitive product and services offerings.

The Account Manager will also be required to maintain up to date and accurate CRM records in relation to their sales activity and to deliver other appropriate reports to Datrix senior management as required.

Experience Required

The successful candidate will work with internal sales and marketing resources to drive customer opportunities through cross-selling and appropriate account planning, as well as working with vendors and partners to develop long term strategies for specific key accounts. Key skills:

  • A minimum 3 years’ experience in the IT & Communications industry
  • A proven ability to identify and close new business opportunities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • An in-depth understanding of networking and security products
