Account Manager

We are currently looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our London-based account team. Sales Professionals at Datrix are required to be involved in both the management of existing customers and the development of new clients.

Key Responsibilities

The role will entail maintaining and expanding customer relationships to both meet revenue objectives and ensure customer engagement and satisfaction.

  • Maintain existing customer relationships
  • Identify net new revenue generating opportunities
  • Deliver tender responses when opportunities are identified
  • Development of partner-provided leads within target organisations
  • Ensuring timely and successful delivery of customer projects

It is an essential part of the role to maintain up-to-date knowledge of all products and services wihtin the Datrix portfolio. Account Managers should also have a broad understanding of competitive product and services offerings.

The Account Manager will also be required to maintain up to date and accurate CRM records in relation to their sales activity and to deliver other appropriate reports to Datrix senior management as required.

Experience Required

The successful candidate will work with internal sales and marketing resources to drive customer opportunities through cross-selling and appropriate account planning, as well as working with vendors and partners to develop long term strategies for specific key accounts. Key skills:

  • A minimum 3 years’ experience in the IT & Communications industry
  • A proven ability to identify and close new business opportunities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • An in-depth understanding of networking and security products

 

Network Consultant

The Datrix Network Consultant works within the Consultancy department and is responsible for providing technical network skills to support our customers both onsite and remotely. The role is predominantly about delivery but there are elements of pre-sales and support as well. The role will require close working relationships with all Datrix departments including, Operations,
Support, Project Management and Sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deploy functional and secure networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN)
  • Monitor network performance and integrity
  • Remote and onsite fault troubleshooting, facilitating customer adds, moves & changes, customer rollouts and other project based installs
  • Prepare and document standard infrastructure operating procedures and protocols (HLD and LLD)
  • Prepare and deliver Proof of Concepts around network solutions
  • Educate and keep abreast of current and innovative networking solutions
  • Assist with qualification of designs and opportunities
  • Attend and present at customer technical workshops and sales opportunities sessions
  • Availability for 24/7 On-Call rota

Experience Required

  • Proven background in the design, implementation and support of Enterprise networks
  • Good understanding of latest network and security principles, techniques and protocols
  • Maintaining vendor certifications including but not limited to Extreme, Palo Alto, Cato
  • Familiarity with various operating systems
  • Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Ability to translate desired business outcomes into innovative solutions
  • Ability to communicate fluently, both orally and in writing, and present complex technical information
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Ability to work independently in pressurised environments
  • Self-motivated, reliable and punctual
  • Travel to customer sites required
